Turbine Measurements Engineer

Job Description

The Turbine Measurements Engineer will focus on measuring and analyzing the performance of turbine machinery. You will identify areas for improvement and ensure optimal operation of our wind turbines.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement monitoring systems to track turbine performance and efficiency.
• Analyze and interpret data to provide actionable recommendations to the operations team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical problems.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the operations team as required.
• Engage with stakeholders to communicate insights and progress on turbine performance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in the renewable energy industry preferred.

Technical Skills

• Matlab
• Python
• Microsoft Excel

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Team collaboration

Certifications

• Certified Energy Manager (CEM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with gas or hydro turbine measurements: Familiarity with gas and hydro turbine performance assessment.
• Knowledge of renewable energy market trends: Awareness of the latest trends affecting the renewable energy sector.
