Job Description

We are in search of a Structural Engineer to join our Pretoria team. You will play a vital role in designing and overseeing construction projects, ensuring safety and compliance with building regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, be proficient in structural analysis software, and possess excellent project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structural analysis using engineering software.
• Advise on materials selection and structural integrity.
• Manage project schedules and coordinate team activities.
• Prepare and present project proposals to stakeholders.
• Review and approve contractor submittals and shop drawings.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide training on best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 7+ years in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Revit
• Finite Element Analysis

Certifications

• Chartered Engineer status

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• LEED accreditation: Certification in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design.
