Biological Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Biological Technician to join our dynamic lab team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting experiments and analyzing biological data, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory analyses and maintain laboratory instruments.
• Assist in the preparation of experiments and sample processing.
• Ensure accurate recording of experimental results and data entry.
• Collaborate with senior scientists on research projects.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss experimental progress and findings.
• Follow strict laboratory protocols and safety guidelines.
• Help train junior staff and interns in laboratory procedures.
• Contribute to the writing of scientific papers and reports.
• Monitor supply levels and assist with ordering laboratory materials.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to biological sciences
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• Prior experience in research or clinical laboratories is preferred.
