Job Description

We’re looking for a motivated General Practitioner in Pretoria who is committed to delivering exceptional medical care. You will assess patients' health conditions through examinations and tests, diagnose illnesses, and develop care plans. Familiarity with community health programs is a plus, as our practice emphasizes preventive care and health education.

Responsibilities

  • Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
  • Monitor and manage patients’ health through follow-up visits.
  • Prescribe medications and evaluate treatment efficacy.
  • Provide guidance on health maintenance and disease prevention.
  • Work in collaboration with allied health professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Participate in medical audits and performance evaluations.
  • Foster a welcoming environment for patients and their families.

Requirements

Education
  • MBChB from a recognized medical school
  • Postgraduate qualification in Family Medicine is an advantage
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a general practice setting
