Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity practices and technologies, including risk assessment, threat analysis, and incident response. You will be responsible for safeguarding our clients' digital infrastructure and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assess client security needs and vulnerabilities.
• Design and deploy cybersecurity tools and technologies.
• Work with external vendors to enhance security features.
• Educate clients about maintaining cybersecurity best practices.
• Conduct penetration testing to evaluate security measures.
• Prepare reports for management and clients detailing security assessments.
• Lead cybersecurity projects from inception to completion.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
• Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA Security+, CISSP) are preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a cybersecurity role
