Job Description

We are in search of a dedicated IT Support Technician to join our Bloemfontein team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining and supporting our IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations for all users. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to users experiencing IT issues.
• Assist in the implementation of IT policies and procedures.
• Perform routine maintenance on IT equipment and systems.
• Analyze system logs and identify potential issues.
• Test and evaluate new software before deployment.
• Support remote users with technical issues as needed.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills.
• Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders regarding IT projects.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Computer Science or related field
• Bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Science is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in IT support, desktop support, or helpdesk roles
