Join us as an IT Support Specialist in Port Elizabeth, where you will be the first point of contact for IT-related issues. Your role will involve diagnosing faults, configuring devices, and delivering exceptional service to our clients and stakeholders, ensuring optimal operation of our IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to technical support inquiries in a timely manner.
• Help in maintaining inventory of IT equipment.
• Identify and escalate more complex issues to senior team members.
• Assist in the development of IT policies and procedures.
• Conduct hardware and software diagnostics and repairs.
• Support backup and recovery processes for critical data.
• Collaborate with external vendors for IT support as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Computer Science or related field
• Bachelor's degree is preferred

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Hardware repair
• Software troubleshooting

Certifications

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• ITIL Foundation Certification
