As a Tax Consultant within our esteemed firm, you will leverage your knowledge of tax law to assist clients in achieving optimal tax performance. This role involves conducting thorough research, preparing tax returns, and developing individualized strategies for clients. Responsibilities

• Review and optimize tax returns to ensure compliance with local laws.
• Build strong relationships with clients to understand their tax needs.
• Provide ongoing support and advice to clients regarding their tax positions.
• Analyze financial data to identify potential tax risks and opportunities.
• Stay informed about regulatory changes impacting taxation.
• Prepare documentation for tax compliance audits and inquiries.
• Assist in training junior tax staff and interns on tax principles.
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure seamless tax processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in tax consulting or accounting roles

Certifications

• SAIPA Membership or equivalent
