Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Civil Service Officer to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will engage in policy development, public administration, and community outreach projects, playing a crucial role in enhancing government services and community welfare.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for effective public engagement.
• Conduct research and analysis to inform public policy decisions.
• Assist in drafting policy briefs and proposals for senior management.
• Facilitate community workshops and presentation sessions.
• Collaborate with NGOs and community organizations for program implementation.
• Support project management activities related to public sector initiatives.
• Advocate for community needs and perspectives within governmental processes.
• Help manage departmental budgets and resource allocations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or related field
• Master's degree in Public Policy is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of relevant experience in government roles
