In this role, you will analyze complex datasets to uncover insights, inform business strategies, and support decision-making processes. Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret complex data sets related to business performance.
• Develop predictive models to forecast trends and outcomes.
• Collaborate with IT to ensure data systems meet business requirements.
• Document processes and standards for data management.
• Conduct data mining and statistical analysis to support decision-making.
• Present findings to management and make recommendations for strategic action.
• Support ad-hoc analysis and special projects as needed.
• Engage with stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs).

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a technical data analysis role

Technical Skills

• R or SAS
• Machine Learning Fundamentals

Soft Skills

• Team Collaboration
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Google Data Analytics Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience with Big Data Technologies: Hands-on experience with Hadoop or Spark for big data analytics.
• Knowledge of Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure): Familiarity with cloud services for data storage and analytics.
