Job Description

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing security measures to protect sensitive data and systems from cyber threats. You will work closely with IT teams to ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the effectiveness of security measures and controls.
• Conduct incident response training for the team.
• Collaborate with external security resources for threat intelligence.
• Prepare reports for management on security risks and improvements.
• Stay updated on cybersecurity trends and emerging threats.
• Assist in the design and implementation of secure network architectures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Advanced degree (Master's) is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a cybersecurity role with a focus on incident response

Technical Skills

• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
• Forensics Analysis

Certifications

• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

Languages

• English: Fluent
