Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of nursing practices and a passion for patient care. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate nursing care to patients and their families.
• Monitor vital signs and assist with diagnostic tests.
• Participate in patient discharge planning and follow-up care.
• Implement infection control and safety measures throughout the facility.
• Act as an advocate for patient needs and preferences.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and families.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Nursing
• Registered with the South African Nursing Council

Experience

• At least 1 year of nursing experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Wound care management
• Vital signs monitoring

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Adaptability

Certifications

• CPR Certification
• Infection Control Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Leadership experience: Previous experience in a leadership role within nursing will be a bonus.
