Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Mental Health Counsellor to join our Bloemfontein team. In this role, you will provide essential counselling services, help clients navigate their mental health challenges, and promote overall wellness through personalized care.

Responsibilities

• Lead therapeutic initiatives that promote mental wellness in the community.
• Provide psycho-education to clients and their families.
• Conduct follow-up consultations to monitor client progress.
• Implement evidence-based practices in all therapeutic interventions.
• Engage in self-care and stress management practices to maintain personal well-being.
• Document and report any changes in clients' conditions to the supervising body.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Social Services
• Master's degree in Clinical Psychology is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in therapeutic settings

Technical Skills

• Therapeutic Techniques
• Family Therapy

Soft Skills

• Active Listening
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Certifications in CBT or DBT

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Setswana: Basic
