Job Description

As a Health and Safety Officer, you will be pivotal in developing and implementing workplace safety policies while ensuring compliance with health regulations. You will conduct risk assessments and enforce preventive measures that enhance employee well-being.

Responsibilities

• Lead health and safety meetings and training sessions.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and initiatives.
• Coordinate emergency response drills and ensure readiness.
• Collaborate with external safety bodies and health inspectors.
• Monitor and analyze safety data to indicate trends and necessary interventions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health or related field
• Certification in health and safety management is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in health and safety roles, preferably in healthcare settings
