We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our growing team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring systems for security breaches, conducting vulnerability assessments, and implementing protective measures. Ideal candidates will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for staying abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate system and network security configurations.
• Conduct forensic investigations in the event of a breach.
• Design disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Assist in the integration of new technologies with existing security controls.
• Analyze user behaviors to flag anomalous activities.
• Implement intrusion detection systems and firewalls.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on cybersecurity matters.
• Research and evaluate new security technologies and software.
• Build and maintain incident response documentation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity analysis
