We are searching for a skilled Chemical Engineer to join our team in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate will focus on developing new chemical processes and improving existing ones. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring that all projects meet safety and regulatory standards while maximizing efficiency and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative solutions for existing process inefficiencies.
• Perform risk assessments and enforce safety protocols.
• Coordinate pilot plant trials and scale-up production.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and supervise testing processes.
• Prepare presentations for stakeholders and management meetings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in process engineering

Technical Skills

• Chemical Process Safety

Certifications

• Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in pilot plant operations: Hands-on experience in operating and managing pilot plants.
