We are seeking a passionate Environmental Consultant to join our Cape Town office. This crucial role involves assessing environmental impact, developing sustainable strategies, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in environmental issues and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Monitor environmental compliance and performance.
• Develop reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
• Engage in community outreach and education on environmental issues.
• Stay updated on legislation and environmental policies.
• Work closely with project managers to integrate sustainability into projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Ecology, or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental consultancy

Technical Skills

• Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
• Sustainability Assessment

Soft Skills

• Negotiation Skills
• Team Leadership

Certifications

• ISO 14001 Lead Auditor Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
