Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Description

Join our Pretoria-based team as a Quality Assurance Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet high standards of quality and performance. You will work closely with developers and other stakeholders to create testing plans, conduct testing, and document results. Ideal candidates will have a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Design test scenarios based on user stories and requirements.
• Perform performance and load testing as needed.
• Lead testing efforts for major releases and projects.
• Ensure that quality assurance processes are being followed.
• Conduct root cause analysis for defects and propose improvements.
• Report testing progress to management and stakeholders.
• Continuously improve testing methodologies and practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Certifications in Agile Testing are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in QA roles

Technical Skills

• Quality Assurance Best Practices
• API Testing

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Certified Agile Tester

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins: Knowledge of integrating QA with continuous integration frameworks.
• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD): Familiarity with TDD practices in the software development lifecycle.
