We are seeking an experienced Health Informatics Manager to oversee the implementation and management of healthcare data systems in our Johannesburg office. The ideal candidate will be skilled in data analysis, information management, and the integration of healthcare technologies. You will play a pivotal role in driving digital transformation initiatives that enhance patient care and optimize healthcare workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations during disease outbreaks and provide analytical support.
• Work alongside healthcare professionals to enhance disease prevention measures.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of public health programs and initiatives.
• Mentor junior staff and assist in their professional development.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders for data sharing and research opportunities.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Epidemiology or related field
• PhD in Epidemiology is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years experience in epidemiology or public health research
