Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Biomass Power Plant Manager to lead our operations and maintenance team. In this role, you will ensure the efficient functioning of our biomass power facility, adhere to safety regulations, and implement effective operational strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operation of the biomass power plant, ensuring all processes run smoothly.
  • Supervise and train a team of maintenance and operations staff.
  • Create and implement operational plans to optimize plant performance.
  • Ensure all operations comply with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in a timely manner.
  • Review operational logs and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage the budget for operations and maintenance activities.
  • Establish effective communication with cross-functional teams.
  • Evaluate new technologies for potential implementation in the plant.
  • Prepare and present operational reports to senior management.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
  • Master's degree is advantageous
Experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in operations and maintenance management within a power generation facility
