Job Description

We are seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our Durban team. The successful candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing creative design solutions and the ability to manage projects from concept to completion. You will work closely with clients to understand their vision and transform it into stunning interiors.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and create innovative interior design solutions.
• Draft and revise design documentation, including floor plans and renderings.
• Work with project teams to coordinate efforts and timelines.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients throughout the design process.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to team development.
• Foster relationships with vendors and suppliers to source materials.
• Evaluate project outcomes to refine and improve future designs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Interior Design

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in various types of interiors

Technical Skills

• 3D Visualization Software
• Project Management Software

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Negotiation Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in residential and commercial projects: Hands-on experience with a diverse range of project types.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations: Familiarity with relevant legal requirements for interior design.
