Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Actuary to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a sound understanding of statistical methods, preparing you for challenges in finance, risk management, and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Conduct peer reviews of actuarial work to ensure accuracy.
• Lead projects aimed at improving actuarial processes and methodologies.
• Develop training materials and conduct workshops on actuarial topics.
• Support claims departments in understanding impacts of policies on risk.
• Monitor financial performance and adjustments in portfolios.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 8+ years of relevant experience preferred

Certifications

• Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
