Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Structural Engineer to join our team in Bloemfontein. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing a variety of structural projects. You will work closely with architects and construction teams to ensure that all projects are executed to the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Utilize engineering software to create models and simulations.
• Ensure structures meet local and national building codes.
• Participate in project planning and development.
• Evaluate potential risks and propose preventative measures.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns in best practices.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in structural engineering design

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Revit

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Chartered Engineer (CEng)

Languages

• English: Fluent
