As a Veterinary Surgeon with us, you’ll diagnose and treat various medical conditions for pets. Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and laboratory tests to aid in disease prevention.
• Oversee dental procedures and practices for animals.
• Mentor junior staff and deliver on-the-job training.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding health updates.
• Collaborate with external specialists when necessary.
• Assist with emergency cases outside normal operating hours.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary standards and regulations.
• Promote preventive health care and wellness programs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc)
• Postgraduate qualifications preferred

Experience

• 5 years of clinical experience preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Proficiency in ultrasound technology: Experience using ultrasound for diagnostics.
