Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Renewable Energy Technician to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of renewable energy systems, primarily solar panels and wind turbines. This role requires a strong technical background in renewable energy technology and a passion for sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Install and calibrate renewable energy systems, ensuring peak performance.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on installed systems.
  • Educate clients on the benefits and operation of renewable technologies.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers on large-scale projects.
  • Assist in the documentation and administration of project progress.

Requirements

Education
  • Trade Test in Electrical Engineering or similar qualification
Experience
  • 4+ years in a relevant field, specifically in renewable energy
