Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

We are in search of an experienced Front-End Specialist to enhance our development team in Durban. Your role will focus on creating dynamic and responsive user interfaces while collaborating with designers and back-end developers to bring innovative projects to life.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement user-centric features on web applications.
• Maintain and improve the performance of existing applications.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Document processes and best practices to enhance team productivity.
• Help to mentor junior developers and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Web Development or a related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in developing responsive and accessible applications

Technical Skills

• JavaScript
• CSS Frameworks
• Version Control (Git)

Soft Skills

• Critical thinking

Certifications

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
• Certified React Developer

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of TypeScript: Good understanding of TypeScript for building robust applications.
