IT Support Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Technician to provide outstanding technical support and administrative assistance to our team and clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT systems and be capable of solving technical issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Respond to support requests via email, phone, and in person.
• Perform installation, configuration, and upgrades for workstations.
• Monitor IT systems for performance and security issues.
• Train end-users on new technologies and applications.
• Collaborate with other IT staff to resolve complex issues.
• Generate reports on IT support statistics and KPIs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field

Experience

• 3+ years in a technical support role

Technical Skills

• Linux OS
• Virtualization Technologies

Advantageous

• Experience with ITIL frameworks: Knowledge of IT Service Management best practices.
• Knowledge of cloud services (AWS or Azure): Familiar with deploying and managing services in the cloud.
