Fretted Instrument Repairer

Job Description

As a Fretted Instrument Repairer, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and restoring various fretted instruments, including guitars, basses, and mandolins. Your expertise will ensure musicians can rely on high-quality sound and performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs that include adjusting neck angles and ensuring proper string tension.
• Replace electronic components where necessary to improve sound performance.
• Attend workshops and training to enhance technical skills in instrument repair.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant certification or training in instrument repair is advantageous.

Experience

• 3+ years of specific experience with stringed instruments.
