Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team in Pretoria. This role involves evaluating and implementing cybersecurity measures, as well as assisting clients in navigating their digital security challenges. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical skills and a problem-solving mindset, ready to tackle security issues head-on.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing security measures.
• Work with clients to conduct security awareness programs.
• Facilitate incident response drills and simulations.
• Coordinate with law enforcement on cybersecurity breaches.
• Maintain documentation of security processes and incidents.
• Contribute to the development of a cybersecurity risk management framework.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant certifications are a significant advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in IT security and risk management

Technical Skills

• Intrusion Detection Systems
• Forensics
• SIEM Tools

Certifications

• CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
• CompTIA Security+

Languages

• English: Fluent
