Green Solutions Ltd. is seeking an Environmental Engineer to join our Durban office. In this role, you will utilize your engineering skills to design and implement effective solutions for environmental challenges. Your work will involve liaising with regulatory authorities, conducting site assessments, and advising on best practices to minimize environmental footprints for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental impact assessments for various projects, ensuring adherence to legislation.
• Develop effective remediation plans for contaminated sites and oversee their implementation.
• Facilitate training sessions for team members on environmental compliance and sustainability practices.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to integrate environmental considerations into project designs.
• Analyze data to assess environmental impacts and propose corrective actions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline

Experience

• 3+ years of professional experience in environmental projects

Technical Skills

• EIA Methodologies

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of GIS software: Proficiency in using GIS tools for spatial analysis and mapping.
• Experience in sustainability consulting: Experience working on sustainability projects, including renewable energy assessments.
