Job Description

As a Clinical Pharmacologist, your primary responsibility will be to conduct and oversee clinical trials, assess drug interactions, and provide expert guidance on pharmacology. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful development of effective and safe medications.

Responsibilities

• Lead pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic studies to understand drug interactions.
• Collaborate with teams across Clinical Operations and Regulatory Affairs.
• Contribute to regulatory submissions and liaise with external partners.
• Support cross-functional teams with scientific expertise and project insights.
• Evaluate existing protocols and recommend improvements based on new research findings.

Requirements

Education

• PhD in Pharmacology or Doctor of Pharmacy
• Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in clinical research and drug development.

• Experience with clinical trial management systems (CTMS): Hands-on experience using software solutions to manage clinical trials efficiently.
