Job Description

As a Public Health Officer, you will play a critical role in promoting health and wellness within the community. Your responsibilities will include conducting health assessments, developing public health programs, and coordinating health initiatives to address local health issues.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess health trends to identify community needs.
• Create and maintain databases and information systems for health data.
• Participate in health policy advocacy efforts.
• Support research initiatives related to public health.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of health education campaigns.
• Conduct outreach programs to promote health screenings and vaccinations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or related field
• Master's degree in Public Health is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in public health initiatives

Certifications

• Registered Environmental Health Practitioner (REHP)

• English: Fluent
