Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous Accountant to oversee financial reporting and compliance. The successful candidate will manage financial statements, analyze budgets, and ensure the accuracy of financial records while supporting various departments within our firm.

Responsibilities

• Supervise accounting entries and ensure accuracy.
• Review general ledger transactions for discrepancies.
• Coordinate financial audits and liaise with auditors.
• Prepare VAT and tax returns, ensuring compliance.
• Collaborate with management to develop financial policies.
• Track financial performance through analysis of KPIs.
• Perform variance analysis between budgets and actuals.
• Assist with financial forecasting and risk management activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CIMA or SAIPA qualification is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance
