Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to join our dedicated team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions aimed at minimizing environmental impact, conducting assessments, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed structural assessments and analyses for various projects.
  • Prepare designs, calculations, and specifications for structural elements.
  • Collaborate with architects and construction teams to ensure design integrity.
  • Develop and review structural engineering documentation and reports.
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and evaluations during the construction phase.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree is an advantage
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in structural engineering
Technical Skills
  • SAP2000
  • AutoCAD
  • Revit
Soft Skills
  • Effective communication
  • Teamwork
Certifications
  • Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous
