Job Description

As a Clinical Psychologist at our Johannesburg practice, you will work collaboratively with a team of professionals to deliver exceptional mental health care. Engage in therapeutic practices, conduct psychological evaluations, and promote mental wellness within the community.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic interventions to clients across different age groups.
• Assess client progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Engage in outreach programs to promote mental health awareness.
• Supervise interns or less experienced psychologists as required.
• Advocate for clients' needs within the healthcare system.
• Contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, with registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa

Experience

• 5 years of experience in psychological testing and therapy

• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• Crisis Intervention

Certifications

• Pretoria University Clinical Psychology Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
