Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in Cape Town. You will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assisting with diagnostic tests, and promoting health education. Collaboration with doctors and other healthcare professionals is essential to ensure effective treatment and recovery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify health issues.
• Participate in the implementation of patient care plans.
• Provide emotional support for patients and families in challenging situations.
• Coordinate with allied health professionals to ensure holistic care.
• Document patient care and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Mentor and train new nursing staff as required.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Nursing or equivalent
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience

Technical Skills

• Patient Care
• Medication Administration

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Registered Nurse License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Critical Care experience: Experience in high-pressure medical settings is a plus.
• Pediatric Care experience: Experience in working with children in a clinical environment is valuable.
