Job Description

As a County Engineer, you will oversee the planning, design, and construction of public infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and drainage systems. You will ensure that all projects adhere to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project teams to develop and implement effective engineering solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all laws and standards during the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and present project proposals to stakeholders.
  • Conduct risk assessments before and during the project.
  • Foster relationships with local communities to enhance project acceptance.
  • Create detailed engineering reports and documentation.
  • Manage project change requests and scope adjustments.
  • Ensure sustainability practices are integrated into project designs.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree is an advantage
Experience
  • 8+ years of experience in civil engineering, particularly in large-scale public projects.
