Job Description

We are seeking a qualified General Practitioner to join our Johannesburg team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive patient care, diagnose and treat various conditions, and develop health management plans. Responsibilities

• Assess patients' health needs and provide appropriate interventions.
• Document patient consultations and treatment protocols accurately.
• Implement disease prevention and health promotion programs.
• Conduct follow-up appointments to check on patient recovery.
• Advocate for patient health and wellness in the community.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the practice.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical practices in patient care.
• Network with other healthcare providers for referrals and patient care collaboration.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Additional certification in General Practice is advantageous

Experience

• 2+ years of general practice experience in a clinical setting

Certifications

• Registered with Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
