Job Description

We need a passionate Environmental Engineer ready to tackle complex environmental challenges in Mbombela. Your role will involve assessing environmental impact, conducting studies, and guiding projects towards eco-friendly practices.

Responsibilities

• Execute site assessments to evaluate environmental conditions.
• Design and implement solutions for remediation and restoration projects.
• Conduct environmental audits and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Prepare documentation for project funding and stakeholder meetings.
• Promote sustainable practices within the organization and client projects.
• Collaborate with contractors and environmental consultants.
• Participate in community outreach and educational programs.
• Analyze data and prepare findings for project reports.
• Lead initiatives to improve sustainability within operational activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field
• Relevant certifications in environmental management are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years working in environmental engineering or project management
