Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat medical conditions and diseases.
• Perform routine health examinations and screenings.
• Provide preventative healthcare advice to patients.
• Document patient treatment plans and maintain medical records.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for patient care.
• Prescribe medications when necessary.
• Stay updated with medical advancements and best practices.
• Address patient inquiries and concerns effectively.
• Lead health education and awareness campaigns in the community.
• Participate in healthcare quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Postgraduate training in Family Medicine preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience as a practicing General Practitioner

Certifications

• Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
