Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat a diverse patient population.
• Integrate holistic approaches into patient care.
• Educate patients on disease prevention and health maintenance.
• Document all interactions and treatment in electronic health records.
• Assist in the coordination of specialist referrals.
• Engage in community health outreach programs.
• Support the management of chronic diseases.
• Enhance patient experience and satisfaction.
• Participate in clinical audits and service reviews.
• Promote a culture of safety and quality in the workplace.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent
• Family Medicine board certification is an advantage

Experience

• 4+ years of diversified clinical experience

Technical Skills

• Emergency Response
• Pharmacology

Soft Skills

• Interpersonal Skills
• Problem Solving

Certifications

• Fellowship in Family Medicine (if applicable)
• BLS/ACLS certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

• Research experience in primary care settings: Participation in medical research is a plus.
• Training in medical education: Experience mentoring medical students or new practitioners.
