Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Animal Caretaker to join our team. You will be responsible for providing personalized care to various animals, ensuring their well-being through feeding, exercising, grooming, and maintaining their overall health.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and well-being of animals at all times.
• Maintain accurate health and behavior records for each animal.
• Assist with training and socialization of the animals.
• Collaborate with veterinary staff for follow-up care.
• Provide updates and reports to pet owners about their animals.
• Handle multiple pets with varying needs effectively.
• Attend workshops and training to enhance animal care skills.
• Foster a positive and caring environment for all animals.
• Promote animal welfare and responsible pet ownership.
• Participate in community outreach programs to educate the public.

Requirements

Education

• Matriculation or equivalent
• Higher Certificate in Animal Care or related field preferred

Experience

• A minimum of 2 years in a pet care role

Technical Skills

• Animal Behaviour Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Problem Solving

Certifications

• Pet CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of animal nutrition: Understanding of dietary needs for various animals.
• Experience in customer service: Background in providing excellent service to clients.
