Join our dynamic healthcare team as a General Practitioner (GP) in Johannesburg. We are looking for a dedicated healthcare professional who is passionate about patient care and has the skills to provide comprehensive medical services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients, performing regular health assessments, and delivering education on health management.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient medical histories and assess current health statuses.
• Educate patients on diet, exercise, and preventive care.
• Work closely with allied health professionals for comprehensive care.
• Manage acute and chronic medical illnesses with best practice approaches.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
• Lead patient health advocacy initiatives in the community.
• Review and assess diagnostic test results promptly.
• Foster relationships with patients for improved healthcare experiences.
• Take part in practice management discussions and strategy meetings.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution
• Additional training in emergency medicine is beneficial

Experience

• At least 5 years of clinical experience in a general practice setting
