Responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs based on client requirements and regulations.
• Produce detailed drawings, models, and specifications for construction projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and contractors to ensure project feasibility.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and advise on design modifications.
• Review project proposals and approve designs for construction.
• Ensure compliance with zoning laws and building codes.
• Manage project timelines and budgets effectively.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior architects and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
• Master's degree in Architecture is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in architectural design

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Revit
• SketchUp
• Adobe Creative Suite

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Registered Architect in South Africa

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
