Responsibilities

• Review and approve insurance applications based on risk assessment.
• Communicate with clients to discuss underwriting decisions.
• Implement strategies to mitigate risks associated with policies.
• Collaborate with sales teams to optimize client satisfaction.
• Monitor policy performance and adjust underwriting criteria as needed.
• Prepare underwriting reports for management review.
• Participate in industry seminars and workshops.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management or Actuarial Science

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the insurance industry

Technical Skills

• Policy Analysis
• Financial Modelling

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Leadership

Certifications

• FELLOW of the Insurance Institute (FII)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of compliance requirements in the insurance industry.
• Advanced Risk Assessment Tools: Experience with advanced risk assessment software is a plus.
