Job Description

We are looking for a proactive IT Support Technician to join our Port Elizabeth team. The ideal candidate will have experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, providing excellent customer support, and maintaining IT infrastructure. This role involves responding to user inquiries, diagnosing problems, and ensuring a smooth running of all IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical support via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Analyze and resolve user issues with software applications.
• Ensure compliance with IT security protocols.
• Maintain documentation related to system configurations and user accounts.
• Participate in IT projects to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
• Assist in user training and orientation for new systems.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
• Support remote users with technical issues as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in IT support or related field is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in IT support or technical roles

Languages
