Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Blockchain Developer to join our dynamic team in Stellenbosch. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing innovative blockchain solutions and smart contracts.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain blockchain protocols and architecture.
• Conduct research on new blockchain technologies and applications.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates.
• Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance project efficiency.
• Train junior developers and interns on blockchain technologies and practices.
• Support the deployment and monitoring of blockchain solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in blockchain technology

Technical Skills

• Solidity

• Node.js
• MongoDB

Certifications

• Certified Blockchain Professional
• Blockchain Fundamentals Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Hands-on experience with DeFi applications: Expertise in decentralized finance (DeFi) applications and protocols.
• Knowledge of DApp hosting platforms: Familiarity with platforms such as IPFS or Filecoin for hosting decentralized applications.
