Sports Coach

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Sports Coach to elevate our coaching team in Johannesburg. You'll mentor and train athletes while instilling a love for sport and fitness. This role is perfect for someone eager to make a significant difference in the lives of young athletes.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging and effective training regimes based on the latest coaching techniques.
• Evaluate the physical and mental needs of the athletes and adapt training accordingly.
• Foster teamwork and sportsmanship among athletes during practice and competitions.
• Maintain a safe training environment while ensuring adherence to health protocols.
• Communicate effectively with parents about athlete performance and development.
• Assist in organizing local and regional competitions and events.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Sports Science or related field
• Recognition as a certified coach is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of coaching experience, preferably in youth sports
