We are seeking a talented Architect to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. This role involves designing creative architectural solutions while collaborating with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovative design and a strong understanding of sustainable practices.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain project documentation and reports.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to junior design staff.
• Review and approve the work of subcontractors and consultants.
• Stay current on architectural trends, technologies, and compliance regulations.
• Foster relationships with clients, community stakeholders, and industry professionals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Master's degree in Urban Design or related field is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years in architectural project management

Technical Skills

• Building Information Modeling (BIM)
• Sustainable Design Practices

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Conflict Resolution

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Certified Sustainable Architect

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic

Advantageous

• Proficiency in 3D rendering software: Hands-on experience with rendering software like Lumion or V-Ray.
• Background in urban planning: Understanding of urban planning regulations and practices.
