Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Investment Banker to join our prestigious team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, valuation, and mergers and acquisitions. This role entails working closely with clients to provide strategic financial advice and support in navigating the complexities of financial markets. You will be instrumental in the formulation and execution of client transactions and will have a hands-on approach to deal structuring.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of investment banking transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and review marketing materials and presentations.
  • Provide mentorship to junior team members in their professional development.
  • Stay informed of regulatory updates and compliance requirements.
  • Contribute to the overall business strategy and growth plans.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or related field
  • MBA preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in investment banking or finance
