Job Description

Join our dynamic accounting team as an Accountant in Johannesburg. You will handle financial transactions, support the preparation of financial statements, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate financial information effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial transactions and ensure accuracy in financial reports.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Prepare tax returns and ensure timely submissions.
• Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts.
• Provide financial advice and support to management.
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate ledgers.
• Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify gaps.
• Collaborate with external auditors during reviews.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CIMA or CA(SA) qualification is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles
